Elizabeth Pittman Thompson graduated from the University of Georgia in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree, majoring in public relations. She began her career as the Advancement Coordinator for the Atlanta College of Art at the Woodruff Arts Center. In 2005 she progressed to Oglethorpe University where she served as the Media Relations Manager. In August of 2008, Thompson joined the Atlanta Clinical & Translational Science Institute as the Director of Communications.
